To enhance students’ whole-person development and out-of-classroom learning experience, seven College Assembly Sessions will be arranged in the academic year 2018/19, offering students the opportunities to widen their knowledge base from an interdisciplinary perspective.
What is your biggest fear, public speaking, or death? If you choose “death”, you are definitely not alone. One wise man once said, “There are two types of speakers: the nervous, and the liars.”
In April 2019 (the last assembly in 2018/19), we have invited Dr Holly Chung, Senior Lecturer of the Department of English, and her good friend, Vannessa, a professional English-language trainer, to share with you how you can STILL get incredibly nervous but can STILL speak in front of the public (without dropping death!). 教務委員會於2013年6月24日的會議中通過，所有一年級生必須於第一年完成最少3次學院月會。出席率少於3次者，其學業成績表上「學院月會」一欄的出席率，將會以「FF」顯示。
- 所有一年級同學必須於首年出席最少三次學院月會。
- 二年級或以上的同學出席學院月會可獲計1.5小時課外活動(ECA) 時數。
- 學院月會採用電子系統記錄出席率。所有同學必須先於內聯網e-Campus內的網上登記系統(e-Registration) 報名，並於活動當日帶備有效學生證於活動完結後拍卡點名，方為有效。
- 月會開始後的15分鐘內仍可入場。如同學未能於指定時間內進場，則會視為缺席。
- 如有任何爭議，學生事務處將保留最終決定權。
