Latest arrangements for the sports facilities and activities in Lee Shau Kee Complex

In view of the latest situation of COVID-19 and the latest announcement from the University, the following preventive measures will be introduced for using the sports facilities in Lee Shau Kee Complex starting from 13 July 2020 (Monday):

 

1) Dance Studio

For activities held at the dance studio, the maximum number of participants will be limited to TEN and a distance of 1.5 metres between each user should be maintained.

 

2) Fitness Centre

The maximum number of participants will be TWENTY FIVE and a distance of 1.5 metres between each other should be maintained. Partitions have been set up between the treadmills. Users must put on your mask if you are not performing high-intensity physical activities

 

3) PE Classes

All on-campus PE classes will be suspended and the PE Unit will notify individual participants for the related arrangement.

 

Apart from the continuous preventive measures, such as health declaration, temperature check at entrances, mask-wearing on campus, increasing the rate of air circulation / ventilation and provision of sanitizers at sports counters, the University has also stepped up its cleaning and disinfection enhancement measures by increasing the cleaning frequency and opening alternate shower cubicles.  

YOU are reminded to continue to strictly observe the precautionary measures according to the advice announced by the CDMO to reduce the risk of any further community outbreaks

 

The PE Unit will update the arrangement according to the newest situation. Please pay special attention to the latest announcement of the sports facilities and services on the ecampus before coming.
