SAO is providing a platform to make your wishes come true!

The establishment of “Let’s Chill Together @ The Inspiring”  aims to encourage student-led activities in The Inspiring with the following purposes:
  1. Foster social networking and promote interaction among students by helping them find friends who share similar interests;
  2. Empower students to actively engage in activities that promote well-being and cultivate a vibrant, inclusive community at HSUHK;
  3. Enhance students’ sense of belonging through encouraging them to engage with the HSUHK community;
  4. Utilise The Inspiring as a flexible and supportive co-working and interaction spaces for our students.

Submission of Activity Proposal:
Please submit your application by completing the online form.

Eligibility and Support from SAO

As long as the event meets the following requirements:
  • Can be arranged to be held at The Inspiring (G/F, Lee Shau Kee Complex) and opened to walk-ins
  • Does not involve any commercial activities or transactions, or promote any other on / off campus activities
  • Does not involve food, or promote inappropriate, discriminatory, or obscene content, or any form of gambling
*The Inspiring will remain open to other walk-in users, with part the venue reserved for the proposed student-led activity.
The Student Affairs Office can support you with:
  • Reserving part of The Inspiring venue for you to hold the event
  • Providing a one-off subsidy of up to $1,500 for each event^
  • Assisting in promoting your event to your fellow schoolmates
^ For workshops that involve per-participant costs for consumable materials, the subsidy amount per participant shall not exceed $100. The subsidy cannot be used for any purchase of hardware products, payment of salary, meals expenses or transportation expenses.
