Before booking a session, please read through the instructions and details below.

A. Steps to book a session

Start by reviewing the list of available mentors and their timeslots in the below table. Once you have selected a mentor you would like to meet, reserve a career advisory session by inputting the required information in the booking page (CLICK HERE). Reservation is on first-come-first-served basis. An auto-email will be generated by Outlook to confirm your reservation. Your booking is considered successful only when you receive the confirmation email from the Career Planning and Development Section.

Please ensure that you are available at the specific timeslot before you make the reservation.

To complete the booking, please

  1. Upload your resume and/or cover letter at this link (need to log-in your HSU’s M365 account)
  2. Complete the pre-Career Advisory Session Survey at this link

Both submissions are required at least five working day before your appointment to help our mentors understand your background. Please name your file as “your name_resume” or “your name_cover letter”(e.g., “Chan Tai Man_resume”). Failure to upload the documents or complete the survey may result in the cancellation of your booking.

After you have completed Step 1 & 2 as instructed, your booking is then confirmed. Your career advisor will let you know the meeting venue or send you a link for the meeting (you may need to download and install Microsoft Teams to attend the session). Please join the meeting on time.
