Service Mode 服務模式
The Personal Growth and Counselling Unit provides a wide range of services as follows:
個人成長及輔導服務有以下各類別的服務提供：
- Counselling / 個人輔導
- Consultation / 諮詢
- Psychological therapy (By clinical psychologist) / 心理治療 (由臨床心理學家負責)
- Mental Wellness and Personal Development Workshops / 心理健康及個人成長工作坊
- Training Activities (e.g. leadership training, volunteer training) / 訓練活動，如領袖訓練、義工訓練
- Peer Mentor Scheme / 朋輩導師計劃
Personal Growth and Counselling Unit is located at Room M612 (office of counselor) and M613 (Interview and meeting room).
辦公室位於M612，另面談室位於M613
Students may make appointments with the university counsellors by completing the online registration form or by email.
同學可填寫網上服務申請表格或通過電郵預約輔導員會面。

網上預約：
- All services rendered by Personal Growth and Counselling Unit to current students will be “free of charge” (except for purchasing related program materials).
- 所有提供予「現正就讀」恒大的同學的服務均不收費 (購買相關教材除外)
- All counselling information will be kept in strict confidentiality.
- 所有輔導個案均受私隱條例保障
- Intensive cases that have to be referred out and groups or mass programs which are jointly organized by Personal Growth and Counselling Unit and external organizations will be charged at an affordable price or according to the fees set by external organizations (e.g. private practice psychiatrist).
- 需要轉介到其他服務或與外間團體合作的服務 (如：私家精神科醫生)，會按對方要求收取合理收費。
Privacy Protection / 個人私隱
Policy to protect the personal particulars and the information of students or service users collected in the course of counseling will be kept in strict confidentiality. Without prior consent from the clients, counselors must not disclose the information to a third person, unless (1) there is a threat to the life of clients or other persons; (2) legal related issues; (3) making referral to another organization by the counsellor; and (4) matters related to “the national security law” and “Cap 650 Mandatory reporting of child abuse ordinance”
所有個案的資料均絕對保密，在未經案主同意下，不會向第三方披露。以下情況例外：
1. 案主本人或其對其他人的人身安全構成危險；2. 案主涉及違法行為而調查一方有法律文件或相關法律賦予之權力;
3. 通過輔導員轉介的服務或團體; 4. 涉及”香港特別行政區維護國家安全法” 的言論或/及行為“及”強制舉報虐待兒童條例”
Important Remarks:
For (1) above, counsellor(s) may inform clients’ parents and related persons for the sake of assuring personal safety. For (4) above, Counsellor(s) is/are required, under relevant laws, to report to the appropriate government authorities.

如遇以上情況(1)，輔導員有可能需要與案主的家人聯絡，以保障案主的安全。
如遇以上情況(4)，輔導員需要根據相關法例而向有關政府部門作出”舉報”。

精神健康急救證書課程
Mental Health First Aid Certificate Course
is one of the popular courses in the tertiary institutes of Hong Kong,
eg, HKU, UST, CityU, PolyU, HKBUHK, CUHK, HSUHK.
which is a knowledge and skill base training equipping the participants to provide immediate appropriate support and preliminary assessment to a person with suspected emotional or mental problem.
The course can raise the participants’ awareness of mental health. Let them knowing how to stay psychologically healthy, dealing with daily stress, maintain positive interpersonal relationships and enjoy their life.
朋輩導師計劃
The Peer Mentor Scheme launched in 2015/16 academic year, which was recognized as a high-impact student initiative group serving HSUHK students. Peer Mentor aims to connect with HSUHK students through a variety means of programs to promote positive thinking and mental wellness at HSUHK campus.
身心健康工作坊
Mental Wellness Workshops
By creating artistic handicraft with the theme of nature under a safe and comfortable environment, participants will express their affections, acknowledge their potential, and foster deeper personal growth and development, as well as self-healing.
在安全和舒適的環境下，參與者將透過以自然為主題的藝術元素，創作藝術品，藉此表達自己的情感並了解自己的潛能，以促進更深層次的個人成長和治愈。
Diversity and Inclusion–
Handicraft Workshop
手工藝共融工作坊
Professional instructors will lead 3 to 4 rehab service users (who serve as instructor assistants) to assist the participants in producing attractive handicraft.
專業導師帶同 3-4 位復康人士(擔任導師助理)，協助參加者一起製作特選的手工藝製品。

轉介本港精神科醫生 / Referral to Psychiatrist in H.K.
同學如有需要接受私家精神科醫生服務，可先預約輔導員作初步評估，如雙方同意，輔導員可介紹合適的精神科醫生及為同學撰寫轉介信。
If students require the services of a private psychiatrist, they may first schedule an appointment with a counsellor for an initial assessment. If both parties consent, the counsellor can recommend a suitable psychiatrist and write a referral letter for the student.
