Venue & Access:
- Your activity will be hosted in a reserved section of The Inspiring.
- The venue remains open and accessible to other walk-in users, creating a dynamic and engaging atmosphere.
How We Can Support You
The Student Affairs Office is here to help make your event a success.
We offer:
- Venue Reservation: Secure a dedicated space for your activity at The Inspiring.
- Promotional Support: Assistance in promoting your event to fellow students across campus.
- Financial Subsidy: A one-off subsidy of up to HK$1,500 per approved event.
Subsidy Details:

Workshop material subsidy capped at $100/participant.
Not for hardware, salaries, meals, or transport.
Eligibility Requirements
To ensure a positive and inclusive environment for all, your proposed activity must meet the following criteria:
Open Access: The event must be open to walk-in participants. Non-Commercial: It must not involve commercial activities, transactions, or promote other campus/external events. Content Appropriate: It must not involve food, or promote inappropriate, discriminatory, obscene content, or any form of gambling. Venue Sharing: Acknowledge that The Inspiring will remain a shared, open space during your event.

Points to note:
- Eligibility: Open to current HSUHK students only.
- Booking: Walk-in and same day booking only, for one slot per day (maximum 1 hour 45 minutes).
- Access: Arrive within 15 minutes of your booked start time.
- Care & Liability: You are fully responsible for all gaming equipment and are liable for any damage or loss during your session.
- Content Ban: Accessing inappropriate, explicit, or illegal content on the devices is strictly prohibited.
- Cleanliness: You must leave the Lounge clean and tidy and return all equipment properly.
- Consequences: Breaking rules may lead to immediate loss of access and disciplinary action by the University.
- Monitoring: The Lounge is under 24/7 CCTV surveillance for security.
- Personal Belongings: The University is not liable for any personal property lost or damaged in the Lounge.
