HSUHK Career Mentorship Programme

Mentorspire HSUHK Career Mentorship Programme (恒生大學事業啟航師友計劃aims at providing valuable opportunities for driven and proactive HSUHK students to seek career advice and guidance from mentors who are seasoned professionals and senior executives from different industries.

During the programme period, mentors and mentees can decide upon their own meeting schedule. On the other hand, various social/ career activities will be organized by the SAO to further connect our large group of mentors and mentees.

Programme period: December 2025 – August 2026

Eligibility:

  • Full-time HSUHK undergraduates of all years
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.7 or above (For Year 1 students and senior year entrants who have not yet received a CGPA, a strong academic performance in their first semester is expected.)

(Note: students who are on overseas exchange programme during semester two are not eligible for this programme)

By joining the programme, you can:

  • receive career guidance from experienced mentors
  • experience networking with industry professionals
  • gain access to different training opportunities

Roles and Responsibilities of mentees 

All mentees are required to demonstrate their commitment to the programme by the following:

  • Submit reflective reports as required.
  • Meet with the assigned mentor(s) for at least 3 times during the programme period.
  • Attend the kick-off gathering tentatively scheduled for 29 Nov 2025 (Sat) afternoon.
  • Participate in at least 2 activities (e.g. professional grooming workshop, mock interview workshop, social gathering) organised under the programme actively.

Interested students are highly encouraged to attend one of our two info sessions, details are as follows:

Award and Recognition
 

Certificate will be issued to mentees who completed the programme with satisfactory performance.

How to apply?
 

Please complete the online application form (LINK HERElatest by 30 Sep 2025 (Thu), HKT 23:59. Please note that you will also need to submit the following three documents via the online form:

  1. Suggest a specific activity you would like to co-create with other mentees for the Mentorspire programme. Explain how this activity supports mentorship and/or career development. Write your response in at least 200 words in English and save your essay in MS Word or PDF format.

  1. Your CV in English in pdf format. We strongly recommend that you prepare your CV using the sample provided in the Career Guide as a reference.

  2. Your result of the game assessment BART on Assessment Portal Graduate First.
*please save the files as “Your name_essay” (e.g. Chan Tai Man_essay), “Your name_resume” (e.g. Chan Tai Man_resume) and “Your name_pt result” and upload them according to the instructions stated on the application form.
