Types of Scholarships
The Sir Edward Youde Memorial (SEYM) Fund Council is offering awards of Fellowships / Scholarships to finance outstanding Hong Kong students for overseas studies commencing in the 2026/27 academic year.
The prestigious Rhodes Scholarship is a fully funded postgraduate scholarship for young people to pursue postgraduate studies at the University of Oxford, UK. The Rhodes Scholarship is merit-based, with the purpose of developing public-spirited leaders, and to promote international understanding and peace through an international community of Scholars.
Online Information sessions
The Rhodes Trust will host online information sessions where you can get first-hand information on the scholarship scheme and you will hear from Rhodes Scholars from Hong Kong about their application journey and experience in Oxford.

Scholarship Details
- Covers all University and College fees, University application fee, a living stipend, fees for a student visa and associated International Health Surcharge (IHS) and and two economy class flights to and from the UK, for the beginning and end of studies in Oxford.
- Application Period: 2 June 2025 – 30 September 2025 (HKT23:59)
