Hong Kong is positioning itself as an international education hub, attracting a growing number of non-local students. However, many of these students face unique challenges when adapting to university life. Many struggle with language barriers, cultural differences, and unfamiliarity with local systems, which can lead to stress, isolation, and reduced engagement. Additionally, the rise in scams targeting non-local students has raised concerns about their personal safety and well-being. RISE Beyond Boundaries is a holistic support programme designed to empower non-local students by strengthening their Resilience, Integration, and Success, with Empowerment as the guiding principle.
The programme provides targeted support in anti-scam education, well-being and safety, cultural and social integration, and career readiness. Through personalised guidance and trust-building, the programme supports students at every stage of their academic journey—from first-year adaptation to senior-year career preparation. By fostering a strong support network of student mentors, alumni, faculty, and staff, RISE Beyond Boundaries creates an inclusive and supportive environment where non-local students can flourish academically, socially, and professionally.
香港正致力於成為國際教育中心，吸引越來越多的非本地學生。學生在適應大學生活時面臨著獨特的挑戰。許多人在語言障礙、文化差異和對當地系統的不熟悉方面存在困難，這可能導致壓力、孤立感和參與度降低。針對非本地學生的詐騙案件增加，引發了人們對他們個人安全和福祉的擔憂。

項目提供針對性的支持，包括反詐騙教育、身心健康與安全、文化和社會融入，以及職業準備。通過個性化指導和建立信任，項目支持學生在學術旅程的每個階段——從大一適應到大四職業準備。通過培養一個強大的支持網絡，包括學生導師、校友、教職員工，「超越界限」計劃創造了一個包容和支持的環境，讓非本地學生在學業、社交和職業方面蓬勃發展。
