Counselling | Student Affairs Office

To better support students’ emotional well-being and mental health needs, the Student Affairs Office has established a 24/7 Emotional Support Hotline (5702 1707). 

This new 24-hour hotline is supported by professional counsellors from the Christian Family Service Centre. It is exclusively available to HSUHK students, offering confidential emotional support, stress relief, and immediate mental health assistance. 

Whether you are in Hong Kong or abroad, facing life’s small frustrations or emotional challenges—or simply in need of someone to talk to—please make use of this dedicated support service. You may converse in Cantonese, Mandarin, or English.

為更貼心地支援學生的情緒與心理健康需要，學生事務處特別設立了24小時情緒支援熱線 (5702 1707)。 

此新設立之24小時熱線由基督教家庭服務中心專業輔導員接聽，專為香港恒生大學學生提供保密的情緒支援、舒解壓力及即時心理健康協助。 

無論你身處本地還是異地，遇到生活的小煩惱、心情困擾，或只是需要一個傾訴的空間，皆可善用這服務。你可選擇以廣東話、普通話或英語交流。

Medical and Safety 醫療與安全

If you encounter a fire or other emergencies, feel that your personal safety is threatened, or witness any crime, please call 999 to contact the police, fire department, or to summon an ambulance.

You can also report lost property, cybercrime, or phone harassment through the Hong Kong Police Force’s online reporting system.

If you become ill, Hong Kong’s healthcare system is world-renowned and offers emergency medical services and outpatient services around the clock. Government Policies for Non - Local Students/ 非本地學生的政府政策

Extension of Stay

  • Must hold a valid student visa and remain enrolled full-time in an accredited program.
  • Application should be submitted before visa expiration through the Immigration Department’s e-Visa portal.
  • Processing takes 4-6 weeks, and there’s no fee for extensions.

Employment During Studies

  • Non-local students can work up to 20 hours per week during the academic term and full-time during holidays.
  • Must have a valid student visa allowing for part-time work Employment After Studies.

Employment After Studies

延長停留

  • 必須持有有效的學生簽證，並全日制註冊於認可的課程中。
  • 申請必須在簽證到期前通過入境事務處的電子簽證平台提交。
  • 處理時間為4至6週，延長簽證不需支付費用。

在學期間的就業

  • 非本地學生在學期內每週最多可工作20小時，假期期間可全職工作。
  • 必須持有允許兼職工作的有效學生簽證。
