Application for Government Subsidy Scheme for Exchange for 2019/20 Academic Year (Round 1)

Dear Student,

 

Starting from 2019/20 Academic Year (AY), the Education Bureau (EDB) will enhance the existing SSE and SSEBR (to be renamed asMeans-tested SSEBR). In parallel, two new Schemes will be introduced from July 2019 onwards, namely the Non-means-tested Mainland Experience Scheme for Post-secondary Students (Non-means-tested MES) and the Scheme for Non-means-tested Subsidy on Exchange to “Belt and Road” Regions for Post-secondary Students (Non-means-tested SSEBR) to encourage more post-secondary students in Hong Kong to pursue exchange activities in the Mainland and B&R regions.

 

The following four subsidy schemes are available for application from 2019/20:

  1. Scheme for Subsidy on Exchange for Post-secondary Students (SSE)
  2. Scheme for Means-tested Subsidy on Exchange to “Belt and Road” Regions for Post-secondary Students (Means-tested SSEBR)
  3. Non-means-tested Mainland Experience Scheme for Post-secondary Students (Non-means-tested MES)
  4. Scheme for Non-means-tested Subsidy on Exchange to “Belt and Road” Regions for Post-secondary Students (Non-means-tested SSEBR)

 

The Round 1 of Government Subsidy Scheme for Exchange for 2019/20 Academic Year is now open for application to all current students who would like to join an exchange activity during Semester one (Starting from 1 September 2019) of 2019/20 AY. Please complete the  online application form and upload all supporting documents to us via Google Form. Application deadline is 30th August 2019 for this round.
