HSUHK Emergency Grant


All local full-time HSUHK students who experience sudden unforeseen financial difficulties that will affect their studies at HSUHK may apply for the emergency grant.

Form of Assistance

The amount of grant will be decided on a case-by-case basis by the Student Affairs Office (SAO).

Application Procedure

Please complete the online application form with any relevant documents. Applicants will be interviewed by staff of the SAO for need assessment.

Handling of Information

The personal data/information provided in the application form, and in any supplementary document(s), will be used by the SAO for processing/counter-checking of application for the emergency grant during the applicants’ studies in HSUHK, and the compilation of relevant statistics to facilitate analysis of applicant’s needs and review of different financial assistance schemes.

The application form and related documents will be kept for a period of seven years.

Applicant has the right to obtain access and makes the correction to the personal data provided by him/her in the application. Such request should be made in writing and addressed to the Director of Student Affairs of HSUHK.
