HSUHK is dedicated to ensuring equal opportunities for all students, including those with special educational needs (SEN). The Student Affairs Office (SAO) coordinates a wide range of support services for these students in collaboration with academic and learning support units, offering individualized assistance such as facilitating learning adjustment, access to assistive devices and technologies, career guidance, and counselling services.
Students who wish to receive the support are invited to register with us. Our Student Affairs Officers will contact the registered student for an individual meeting to discuss the necessary accommodation and assistance and liaise with the departments concerned. Students are strongly advised to provide recent documentation of their SEN. All information is handled in strict confidence.
Please contact our Diversity and Inclusion Team at sen@hsu.edu.hk to arrange a confidential discussion.
