University Graduation Requirements:
iGPS Unit

(For Undergraduate Students Only)​

The iGPS Unit requirement is established as a University Graduation Requirement, aiming to enhance holistic learning, student development, and foster students’ pursuit of diverse personal enhancement and all-roundedness through integrated and experiential learning activities, as well as self-directed learning.

No. of iGPS Unit to be achieved before graduation

Points to note:
1. Only current year iGPS Unit claim records will be counted
2. 9 iGPS Units will be counted at most in each academic year

Application for iGPS Units

Except for joining HSUHK activities, participation in non-HSUHK activities is also eligible for claiming iGPS units upon the approval of the SAO. The application procedures are as follows. Only e-submission would be accepted.

e-Submission procedures:
(for students claiming the non-HSUHK activities iGPS units only)

  1. Download the Certification of Participation (for iGPS Unit only).
  2. Acquire signature and the official stamp from the organizing unit for certifying your participation, otherwise, your application will not be processed.
  3. Complete this online form and upload the endorsed Certification of Participation and supporting document(s) (if any).
  4. Keep the original copy of the Certification of Participation and proof (if any), in case of any dispute of record.

For ORGANISER-

The record will be updated in the system upon the SAO's receipt of the activity record from the organizer.

Timeline of the working schedule

For November, December, April and May, records will be updated twice a month.
+ Submission of records later than this date might result in the delay in the conferment of academic awards.

After the release date, the iGPS Unit can be viewed at eCampus > Student Portal > MyHSUHK > Activity > iGPS Unit.
