AY 2024-2025 Semester 1 Exercise classes (September - October)

This semester, the University will provide 8 different types of exercise classes to students:  

  1. Juggling & Stretching exercises (雜耍及伸展運動)  
  2.  Yoga (瑜珈)   
  3.  Badminton (羽毛球)  
  4.  #Advance Fitness (進階健身) (Participants who completed the Advanced Fitness Course may register as users of the LCSD Fitness Rooms) 
  5.  Yin Yoga (陰瑜珈)  
  6.  Yogalates (瑜珈拉提)  
  7.  Fitball (健身球)  
  8.  Taichi & Wubuquan (太極五步拳)

Enrolment Procedures and Details: 

  1. Registration period: from 10:00 am, 2 September (Monday) to 5:00 pm, 13 September 2024 (Friday). (Click here for e-registration).  
  2. The class will be cancelled if the enrollment rate is lower than 50%. 
  3. Each student can only enroll in ONE class. Students who fail to attend the class after successful registration will be limited to enroll in other PE activities in this academic year.  
  4. After you have successfully registered for a class, a message “Your submission is completed successfully.” will be shown at the bottom of the system and the status will stay as “Choice 1”. Please check the result via the e-registration system and students WILL NOT receive confirmation emails. 
  5. In case there are students withdrew from the class due to a timetable clash, thus freeing up quotas in the class that was originally fully registered, those who were unable to enroll in the first round can send an e-mail to Mr. Wong ( cwwong@hsu.edu.hk ) for inquiries. All available seats will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis. 
  6. Students are required to have an overall attendance of at least 80% (4 out of 5 lessons) to receive any iGPS units.  
  7. Students will receive the exact number of hours or units based on their attendance rate and the record will be released on or before 15 December 2024.  
  8. If students cannot fulfill the above attendance requirement, they will not receive any iGPS units.  
  9. Please wear proper sports attire when attending the class. 
  10. No classes will be scheduled on Public Holidays and School Holidays.
