恒大邀請賽(第二週) – 排球

男子組 (6月11日)

恒大於上午分別對戰香港公開大學及樹仁大學，比賽分別以25:17,21:25,15:5及25:14,25:8 先嬴兩仗。

下午香港公開大學對戰職業訓練局。兩隊旗鼓相當，節奏相當緊湊。由職訓局打破僵局拉開5分距離。最後職訓局先拔頭籌，以17：25贏得首局勝利。緊接第二局職訓局以9分距離遙遙領先，公大努力一度連追6分，可惜起始分差太大，最後職訓局以13：25取得該局勝利，並以2：0輕鬆取勝結束該場賽事。

下午第二場賽事由香港教育大學對戰樹仁大學。第一局賽事開局樹仁以3分優勢領先。教大李鍵鋒以扣殺奪得第八分追平樹仁。後來由教大拉開5分距離，樹仁緊隨其後。雙方不遑多讓，最後教大以21：25贏得首局勝利。

第二局賽事開局雙方不相伯仲，後來由教大拉開10分之差的距離。樹仁不敢鬆懈，一口氣奪四分將雙方分數縮短至6分距離。最後該局以17：25結束。教大以2：0取勝結束該場賽事。

Men’s Volleyball – 11 June 2019

In the morning, The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong completed with The Open University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Shue Yan University. HSUHK got the victory with the points 25:17, 21:25, 15:5 and 25:14, 25:8 respectively.

The Open University of Hong Kong facing Vocational Training Council. Both teams were matched in strength at the beginning, the rhythm of the match was quite compact. VTC broke the deadlock and was five marks apart from the OUHK. VTC take the lead, won the first game by 17:25. The second game was coming immediately with VTC keeping 9 points from the lead. The OUHK was kept up with the great effort to get back six marks, but the difference at the beginning was too large that unable to change the result. Finally, VTC get the victory of match by 13:25, and won the match easily with a result of 2: 0 at the end of the competition.

The second competition in the afternoon was Hong Kong Shue Yan University battling with The Education University of Hong Kong. Shue Yan started the first inning lead with 3 points advantage in the match. Lee Kin Fung from EdUHK used the skill of smash and won the eighth points that tied with Shue Yan. Later, EdUHK pull a distance of five points apart from Shue Yan, Shue Yan was on EdUHK ’s heels. Both sides were in no way conceding, and finally EDU won the first game victory with the result of 21:25.

Both sides are neck and neck at the beginning of the second game, and later a 10-point distance was opened by EdUHK. Shue Yan didn’t slack, they get four points in one-off that shortening the distance to 6 points. Finally, the game ended at 17:25 and EdUHK won. EdUHK won 2: 0 at the end of the competition.

女子組 (6月13日)

香港教育大學於上午比賽中，分別以25:20,25:21勝香港公開大學及25:13,25:9香港恒生大學，以全勝姿態迎接準決賽。

第一場賽事由職業訓練局對戰嶺南大學。開局職訓局便處於上風，以10分優勢領先嶺南。嶺南莫梁樑憑住開波扣殺將分數縮短至7分之差。最後職訓局盧芷盈以一記虛攻為職訓局贏得首局25：17的勝利。第二局開局嶺南以2分輕微之差領先，可惜不久就被職訓局追過。雙方一直爭持不下，最後職訓局以28：26險勝，局數2：0大敗嶺南。該場賽事以防守尤為精彩，包括職訓局李愷婷的飛身救球以及嶺南擔當自由人位置的徐嘉麗的多次救球做得相當出色。

第二場賽事由香港恒生大學對戰香港公開大學。開局公大以4分之差稍稍領先。恒大發球，公大觸手出界追平7：7。中場恒大奮起直追，領先3分。公大後來居上，雙方不遑多讓。最後公大以6分之差取下首局勝利，該局分數為19：25。第二局開局恒大先發制人，以3分之差輕微領先。可惜中段恒大失去開局優勢，形勢逆轉，公大領先5分。最後公大以21：25險勝恒大，並以局數2：0完結該場賽事。該場賽事以恒大林希蔓攔網得分最為精彩，憑著其出色攔網為恒大於落後形勢中得分，提高團隊士氣。

經過一場賽事的休息後，嶺南大學重整旗鼓，迎戰香港高等教育科技學院（THEi）。開局兩隊均以快攻為策略，雙方不相伯仲。到中段嶺南打破僵局，一口氣連取6分，拉開距離。THEi力挽狂瀾。最後憑著中段領先優勢，嶺南以25：17輕鬆拿下首勝。第二局開局節奏明顯放緩，雙方均小心謹慎。中場嶺南以5分之差領先，尾段更拉至10分之差。THEi無力回天，最後嶺南以25：13輕鬆取勝，並以局數2：0大敗THEi。

Women’s Volleyball – 13 June 2019

In the morning, the Education University of Hong Kong entered the semi-finals with a full victory with 25:20, 25:21 (vs The Open University of Hong Kong) and 25:13, 25:9 (vs Hang Seng University of Hong Kong).

The first competition was between the Vocational Training Council and Lingnan University. In the beginning, VTC was in the upper hand, leading LingU by 10 points. Mok Leung Leung from LingU reduced the score to 7 points with the skill of drive serve. In the end, Lo Tsz Ying from VTC, helped won the first 25:17 victory by using the skill of dink. LingU led the second inning by a slight margin of 2 points but was soon overtaken by VTC. The two sides have been at loggerheads. In the end, VTC won the game by 28:26 and won LingU by 2:0. Both sides’ defence in this match is particularly splendid, including Lee Hoi Ting from VTC, and Tsui Ka Lai from LingU, who play as a libero, did a good job in many saves.

The second competition was between The Open University of Hong Kong and The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. OUHK was 4-point slightly ahead at the beginning. HSUHK served OUHK tentacles out of bounds that HSUHK chased into a tie of 7: 7. HSUHK caught up quickly in the middle of the game and turned out 3 points ahead. OUHK caught up from behind, both sides were no slouch. Finally, OUHK got the victory in the first game by 6-point, end in a score of 19:25. HSUHK started the second game of pre-emptive, with a slight 3-point lead. Unfortunately, HSUHK started to lose the advantage in the middle of the game, the situation reversed, OUHK was 5 points ahead. Finally, OUHK won the game by a narrow margin with the result of 21:25 and with the number of games 2: 0 end of that match. The most exciting part was Lam Hei Man from HSUHK with the great use of blocking which help HSUHK scored in the backward situation, also improve team morale.

After taking a break, Lingnan University rallied forces again and combat with Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi). The two teams start using fast-break as their tactics, both sides are neck to neck. In the middle of the game, LingU broke the deadlock, take six points at once and pull away from the distance of THEi. THEi try their best to turn the tide. With the advantage of lead in the middle of the game, Lingnan won the first victory easily with the result of 25:17. The second game started with a slow tempo, both sides were cautious and played the game carefully. LingU leading 5-point apart, and even pull to a 10-points difference at almost the end of the game. THEi fail to turn the tide. Finally, LingU won 25:13 easily, and the number of innings 2: 0 defeat THEi.
