HSUHK Global Internship 2019 – 2020: Pacific BMW Fall Internship 2019

Dear students,

The opportunity to work at Pacific BMW, one of the largest BMW dealers in Los Angeles, the US has come again!
Organized by HSUHK and the Pacific BMW, the internship program has been well received by many students since its launch in 2015. The successful candidates will be able to have a taste of working in different lines of business including Accounting, Administration, Data Analysis, HR, Sales and Marketing, Communications, Operations, etc. on rotational basis during the 3-month internship at Pacific BMW.

Pacific BMW Fall Internship 2019
  • Internship period: 16 Sept – 6 Dec 2019 (12 weeks)
  • Internship location: Los Angeles, the US
  • Eligibility: All students are welcome, but priority will be given to year 2 – 4 students

Support from Pacific BMW:

  • Sponsor the J-1 visa fee for participant, costing around HKD$15,000 per student
  • Provide participant with free accommodation
  • Offer an hourly stipend at US$12 per hour to intern

Support from the University:

  • Arrange travel insurance for participant
  • Coordinate visa application and provide guidance when necessary
  • Offer participant pre-departure training and job-related workshops

Application method:

  • Interested students please fill in the online application form and submit along with your CV and cover letter by 14 June 2019 (Fri), 12:00 noon. No late submission will be entertained.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview on any afternoon of 18 – 20 June 2019.

Important note:

  • This global internship will take place in Fall semester, and therefore you will likely have to defer your study or graduation. Please thoroughly consider this point and discuss with your family if necessary. No withdrawal will be accepted once you have handed in your application.
